BASIC INSTRUCTIONS
The first time you use this program it will create empty data files in the same directory as the main program. Every time the Shareware version of the program is run this text viewer will appear. Clicking on the Continue button will launch you in to the main program. The data can be accessed from the browse menu. The database consists of three files. The main file stores information about the recording, the performers file is used to store information about performers related to an individual recording. The tracks file store information regarding the tracks, times etc of a particular recording. These files are all related so that the track and performer information of the selected recording record will only be displayed.
Pressing the Tab key will move you between fields in the data entry screen.
The tabs at the top of browse boxes are accessed using the mouse.
Entries can be made in the track and performers file without returning to the browse screen. When inserting new records an extra button will appear to give you the chance to carry out multiple adds. Click on the OK button when the last in a series of adds has been completed.
The reports options are set to work on the whole file, the registered version allows the selection of individual records. A preview screen will appear before printing to give you the chance to cancel the print operation.
